Brook Hopper grew up in Michigan and started her journey west after graduating from college. Her passion for yoga was discovered later in life, and began with a Bikram yoga practice, followed by Vinyasa. It was through the Ventura yoga community that she met Krystal Pearson, who introduced her to ACROVINYASA yoga, a partner practice that brings asanas from the earth to the air. Both Brook and Krystal were certified in this practice in Bali by Claudine and Honza LaFond. As a former competitive gymnast, the pairing of a Vinyasa practice with acrobatic elements was a challenging and appealing combination. Their partnership has evolved over the years, and the acro-twins are excited to teach you how to fly!
Brook is a proud mom of a 10-year-old daughter & two cute dogs. When not practicing yoga, you can find her traveling the world, riding her motorcycle with her husband, or wing-suiting out of ‘perfectly good’ airplanes. She has recently relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona. Her favorite yoga posture is Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (resting pigeon.) Brook loves Bali and is very excited to share this experience with all of you!

Marinella, a native of the island of Sardinia (Italy), graduated from the Center for Ayurveda.
She has been trained in the Guru Kulam tradition; a tradition in which the presiding teacher takes responsibility for the academic, as well as the personal and spiritual training of the student.
The science of Ayurveda was not new to her. In fact, when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 2013 she decided to treat her disease holistically. That is when she met her guru and mentor Dr. Mela Gaskins-Butcher, Founder and Director of the Center for Ayurveda. Marinella will tell you that MS has changed her life. She is thankful that it has brought her to Ayurveda, the science of life and conscious living! She firmly believes that our body can heal itself if given the proper tools.
